It was Medicine Valley's first game in the 6-man ranks, and they were matched up with top-10-rated Arthur County. The Raiders played a solid game but fell 64-25 Thursday evening. The score does not indicate how well Medicine Valley played; they have a lot to be excited about.

We start in the first quarter, Arthur County began with a bang as Reese Swanson took the opening kick to the Medicine Valley 17-yard line. On the very next play, Talan Storer ran it in. The two-point kick was good, and it was 8-0 with 9:42 to go in the first.

Four minutes later, the Wolves scored again and it was a 39-yard touchdown pass from Talan Storer to Tucker Rut. The kick was good again and it was 16-0. It looked like the Wolves might run away and hide.

On the next possession, Tyce Pate picked off a pass while on his back with 55 seconds to go and give Medicine Valley all of the momentum. In the second, a couple of minutes in, Arthur County's Grady Gorwill scored on an 11-yard run and the kick was good again, and it was 24-12.

Brody Senff made another big play for the Raiders. On the ensuing kickoff, he took it 79 yards to the house. The conversion was no good again and it was 24-18 with 7:37 to go in the half. Arthur County answered back with an 11-yard pass from Storer to Rut again and it was 32-18 with 4:52 to go in the second.

Well, the Wolves made quick work of the time they had and scored; Grady Gorwill punched it in from 20 yards away and it was 40-25 after the conversion.

That's what the score was at halftime.
