Bertrand's Marcus Hernandez Selected for NCA All-Star Basketball Game, Craig Newcomb Selected as a Coach

Today, the Nebraska Coaches Association announced the rosters for the Girls' and Boys' All-Star Basketball Teams. Bertrand's Marcus Hernandez was named to the team. Hernandez was awesome this past season, averaging 16.5 points, 7.3 rebounds, 2.8 steals, and 0.7 blocks.

We reported a few weeks back that Bertrand Head Coach Craig Newcomb will be an assistant for the All-Star Game too. Of course, this past season was Newcomb's last. You can read that article here.

The game will be played on Wednesday, July 23rd at 8:00 P.M. following the Girls Game.

Back in January, it was announced, and we reported on it, that RPAC will have representatives in the  NCA All-Star Volleyball match. Kim Barnett of Southwest will Coach and Atleigh Nelms of Southwest will play on Tuesday July 22nd. That match is at 6:00 P.M.
