Five RPAC Teams Compete at the Fierce Jim Mather Invite on Wednesday


It was a beautiful 70-degree day with just enough breeze to keep you cool. There were numerous personal bests, a couple of records broken, and great competition. Five RPAC schools competed at the Jim Mather Invite in Arapahoe on Wednesday. Now, let's get into the results.

In the 100m dash, Chase Vosler of Bertrand placed 5th with a time of 12.06, Kayden Hatfield of Bertrand placed 6th with a time of 12.14, and Miles Ford of Alma placed 7th with a time of 12.20.


In the 200m dash, Tayten Koeppen of Cambridge placed 2nd with a time of 23.39 and Eric Wood of Bertrand placed 7th with a time of 24.74.


In the 400m dash, Koeppen of Cambridge placed 1st with a time of 52.59, Trenton Roskop of Arapahoe placed 3rd with a time of 54.62, Ben Hoberty of Cambridge placed 4th with a time of 54.63, and Isaiah Neal of Alma placed 6th with a time of 55.37.


In the 800m run, Marcus Hernandez of Bertrand placed 1st with a time of 2:10.57, Carson Trompke of Cambridge placed 2nd with a time of 2:10.88, Hoberty of Cambridge placed 5th with a time of 2:14.29, Wyatt Jackson of Cambridge placed 6th with a time of 2:15.03, Neal of Alma placed 7th with a time of 2:15.60, and Isaac Hamilton of Southern Valley placed 8th with a time of 2:20.02.


In the 1600m run, Trompke of Cambridge placed 7th with a time of 5:15.90.


In the 3200m run, Trompke of Cambridge placed 1st with a time of 10:39.14 and Braden Sandfort of Cambridge placed 7th with a time of 12:10.65.


In the 110m hurdles, a new meet and Class C record was set by Jaxon Knisley of North Platte St. Pat's with a time of 14.16. Zavier Mitchell of Alma placed 3rd with a time of 15.72, Roskop of Arapahoe placed 4th with a time of 16.47, and Thunder Nelson of Bertrand placed 5th with a time of 16.78.


In the 300m hurdles, Mitchell placed 1st with a time of 42.84, Roskop placed 2nd with a time of 44.14, Coleman Langford of Bertrand placed 6th with a time of 46.91, and Landon Wilhelm of Alma placed 8th with a time of 47.24.


In the 4x100m relay, Bertrand placed 2nd with a time of 46.54 and was run by Wood, Vosler, Hatfield, and Nelson. Alma placed 3rd with a time of 47.31 and was run by Ford, Mitchell, Wilhelm, and Gavin Dunse. Cambridge placed 4th with a time of 47.34 and was run by Krayton Ruggles, Hoberty, Brady Ahlemeyer, and Koeppen.



In the 4x400m relay, Cambridge placed 4th with a time of 3:49.24 and was run by Ruggles, Gavin Gunderson, Ahlemeyer, and Koeppen. Alma placed 6th with a time of 4:01.18 and was run by Bladyn Herrick, Neal, Creighton Lynch, and Dunse. Bertrand placed 8th with a time of 4:09.71 and was ran by Langford, Dawson Newcomb, Cooper Langford, and Hatfield.


In the 4x800m relay, Cambridge placed 2nd with a time of 9:02.22 and was run by Ahlemeyer, Jackson, Gunderson, and Trompke. Alma placed 3rd with a time of 9:24.70 and was run by Neal, Nolan Pfeil, Davis Clark, and Lynch. Arapahoe placed 6th with a time of 9:52.26 and was run by Titus Goshert, Thomas Magorian, Carl Nordine, and Hudson Sich.


In shot put, Trey Downey of Arapahoe placed 3rd with a throw of 42'7.5", Spencer Gehrig of Alma placed 5th with a throw of 41'9.5", and Nolan Edgren of Bertrand placed 8th with a throw of 38'4.5".

In discus, Gabe Grove of Southern Valley placed 3rd with a toss of 128'6" and Hunter Perks of Cambridge placed 6th with a toss of 122'11.


In high jump, Roskop of Arapahoe placed 2nd with a jump of 5'11", Herrick of Alma placed 4th with a jump of 5'9", and Vosler of Bertrand placed 7th with a jump of 5'5".


In pole vault, Hernandez of Bertrand placed 1st with a vault of 13'9", Isaac Hernandez of Bertrand placed 3rd with a vault of 12'3", Wood of Bertrand placed 4th with a vault of 10'9", and Preston Howart of Southern Valley placed 6th with a vault of 10'9".


In long jump, Mitchell of Alma placed 2nd with a jump of 20'1", Cooper Langford of Bertrand placed 3rd with a jump of 19'8.75", Ruggles of Cambridge placed 6th with a jump of 18'11", Nelson of Bertrand placed 7th with a jump of 18'7.5", and Hoberty of Cambridge placed 8th with a jump of 18'3".


In triple jump, Wood of Bertrand placed 1st with a jump of 39'8.5", Nelson of Bertrand placed 2nd with a jump of 39'2.5", Perks of Cambridge placed 3rd with a jump of 37'11", Ruggles of Cambridge placed 4th with a jump of 37'9", Hamilton of Southern Valley placed 6th with a jump of 36'5.5", and Newcomb of Bertrand placed 7th with a jump of 35'11".

In the 100m dash, JoLie Farr of Cambridge placed 1st with a time of 12.76, Adi Hunt of Southern Valley placed 2nd with a time of 12.86, Tierston Moore of Alma placed 5th with a time of 13.27, and Peyton Sich of Arapahoe placed 8th with a time of 13.99.


In the 200m dash, Hunt of Southern Valley placed 1st with a new meet record time of 26.03, Farr of Cambridge placed 2nd with a time of 26.75, and Ruby McCune of Arapahoe placed 5th with a time of 28.26.


In the 400m dash, Hunt of Southern Valley bettered her own school record with a 1st place finish and a time of 60.24, Desi Farner of Arapahoe placed 2nd with a time of 63.69, Kamryn Scott of Alma placed 3rd with a time of 64.59, Rachel Harris of Cambridge placed 5th with a time of 66.79, and Shelby Schoene of Bertrand placed 6th with a time of 66.79.



In the 800m run, Schoene of Bertrand placed 1st with a time of 2:32.71, Harris of Cambridge placed 3rd with a time of 2:36.75, Scott of Alma placed 4th with a time of 2:37.22, Brenna Deterding of Cambridge placed 6th with a time of 2:39.83, Grace Andrews of Arapahoe placed 7th with a time of 2:42.99, and Addison Siebels of Alma placed 8th with a time of 2:44.01.


In the 1600m run, Addison Andersen of Bertrand placed 4th with a time of 6:28.74, Harper Fennel of Alma placed 5th with a time of 6:33.79, and Tayley Becker of Southern Valley placed 6th with a time of 6:48.97.


In the 3200m run, Andrews of Arapahoe placed 4th with a time of 13:44.66, Fennel of Alma placed 5th with a time of 14:12.52, and Ashlynn Edgren of Bertrand placed 8th with a time of 15:26.30.

In the 100m hurdles, Moore of Alma placed 1st with a time of 15.97, Jalen Kent of Cambridge placed 4th with a time of 17.79, Brecklyn Hammond of Southern Valley placed 5th with a time of 17.83, and Emma Strand of Arapahoe placed 6th with a time of 18.21.


In the 300m hurdles, Moore of Alma placed 1st with a time of 48.32, Kent of Cambridge placed 3rd with a time of 51.14, Ann Bose of Southern Valley placed 5th with a time of 52.61, Strand of Arapahoe placed 7th with a time of 54.61, and Kamri Neal of Alma placed 8th with a time of 56.96.


In the 4x100m relay, Cambridge placed 2nd with a time of 53.00 and was run by Kent, Harris, Joslyn Holtze, and Farr. Arapahoe placed 5th with a time of 56.17 and was run by McCune, Sich, Molly Elliot, and Farner. Bertrand placed 7th with a time of 57.66 and was run by Livia Philips, Ella Brown, Schoene, and Andersen.



In the 4x400m relay, Arapahoe placed 1st with a time of 4:25.62 and was run by Sich, Andrews, McCune, and Farner. Cambridge placed 3rd with a time of 4:34.60 and was run by Farr, Kent, Deterding, and Harris. Alma placed 4th with a time of 4:38.20 and was run by Siebels, Chayse Molzahn, Moore, and Scott. Southern Valley placed 5th with a time of 4:46.90 and was run by Becker, Natalee Holste, Hayley Serfontein, and Lorelie Howart.


In the 4x800m relay, Alma placed 2nd with a time of 11:29.65 and was run by Elizabeth Dubbs, Siebels, Fennel, and Molzahn. Cambridge placed 4th with a time of 11:53.46 and was run by Katie Fegley, Jensyn Weiss, Elisabeth Kubik, and Deterding.


In shot put, Kubik of Cambridge placed 7th with a throw of 32'9.5" and Bailee Ahlemeyer of Cambridge placed 8th with a throw of 32'6.5".


In discus, Brynn Baily of Southern Valley placed 3rd with a toss of 101'8", Brylyn Springer of Cambridge placed 4th with a toss of 101'8", and Gracey Hinson of Bertrand placed 6th with a toss of 97'9".


In high jump, Bose of Southern Valley placed 1st with a jump of 5'1", Weiss of Cambridge placed 4th with a jump 4'9", Springer of Cambridge placed 5th with a jump of 4'9", and Molzahn of Alma placed 8th with a jump of 4'7".


In pole vault, Schoene of Bertrand placed 1st with a vault of 9'9", Deterding of Cambridge, Sich of Arapahoe, and Philips of Bertrand were in a 3-way tie for 4th with vaults of 7'9", and Stalder of Southern Valley placed 7th with a vault of 7'9".


In long jump, Hunt of Southern Valley placed 1st with a jump of 16'9" and Farner of Arapahoe placed 8th with a jump of 14'9".


In triple jump, Brooklyn Holtze of Cambridge placed 3rd with a jump of 31'1", Holste of Southern Valley placed 5th with a jump of 30'8.5", Howart of Southern Valley placed 5th with a jump of 30'6.5", and Strand of Arapahoe placed 8th with a jump of 29'9.25".



Bertrand will be back in action this Friday for the Don Bader Invite on Friday in Lexington. Alma and Southern Valley will be back on the track on Monday with the Southern Valley quad. Arapahoe and Cambridge are off until the RPAC meet next Thursday which will be hosted by Arapahoe.
