The Graff Events Center was the site for the final day of the RPAC Boy's Tournament and pair of matchups took place.
In the 3rd and 4th place game, it was a pair of 2-seeds who battled Dundy County Stratton on the West and Cambridge from the East. The Tigers, were able to capture the win by a large margin, 66-23.
In the championship game, it was the #1 seed in the West, Maywood-Hayes Center, and the #5 seed from the East, Bertrand. The Wolves were able to win by a final score of 57-43. In the first quarter, it was a feeling out process for both teams as it was very physical. The Wolves led 11-9. There were times in the second period it looked like the Wolves were going to run away with the game, but at the half they had a lead of 26-19.
In the third quarter, the Vikings couldn't get any closer, but stayed within striking distance, down 41-32 heading into the final period. The Wolves were able to close things out as they scored 16 points to Bertrand's 11.
Hayden Kramer led the way for Maywood-Hayes Center with 23 points and Jeremiah Ingison had 16.
Marcus Hernandez was effective off the bench for Bertrand with 10 points. Owen Kaps had eight points, seven rebounds, four steals, and three assists.
For the Wolves, since their consolidation in sports, this is their first RPAC Boy's Basketball Title.
