Records Broken at Tuesday's Hi-Line Track Invite

What a vast change in the weather from last week! It was much colder, no sunshine until after the break, but one thing remained the same: some wind. Nonetheless, three meet records were broken at Tuesday's Hi-Line track invite in Elwood. Let's dive right in.

In the 100-meter dash, Asher Hecox of Hi-Line placed 1st with a time of 11.35, Grayson Koller of Arapahoe placed 3rd with a time of 11.78, and Colt Gosnell of Maxwell placed 5th with a time of 12.16.
In the 200-meter dash, Thunder Nelson of Bertrand placed 2nd with a time of 23.00, Brady Ahlemeyer of Cambridge placed 4th with a time of 24.07, Hayden Sich of Arapahoe placed 5th with a time of 24.35, and Gosnell of Maxwell placed 6th with a time of 24.44.
In the 400-meter dash, Will Cacy of Arapahoe placed 1st with a time of 50.20, which set a new meet record and broke his own school record, Koller of Arapahoe placed 2nd with a time of 52.21, Jesse Reyes of Maxwell placed 3rd with a time of 52.72, Kael Garrett of Medicine Valley placed 4th with a time of 53.09, and Gage Rupp of Hi-Line placed 6th with a time of 55.04.

In the 100-meter dash, Adi Hunt of Southern Valley placed 1st with a time of 12.01, which broke the school record she set on Friday and the meet record. JoLie Farr of Cambridge placed 2nd with a time of 12.39, and Ambie Custard of Southwest placed 5th at 13.10.
In the 200-meter dash, Hunt of Southern Valley placed 1st and set a new meet record with a time of 24.95, Farr of Cambridge placed 2nd with a time of 26.24, and Rylan Custard of Southwest placed 6th with a time of 28.39.
