The spring season just keeps rolling on and Maxwell/St. Pat's has just two more regular season games in 2024. This past week they had a couple of matchups against Adams Central on the road and dropped both. It was a double-head against the Patriots, a team that has been playing well all season and is 12-3.
In one of the matchups, the Patriots won 21-0. Maxwell/ St. Pat's just couldn't get the offense going. Maxwell/St. Pat's also struggled with errors as they accumulated six of them. They did collect a pair of hits from two players. Max Robinson had a hit and then Cyrrus Messersmith had a hit too.
In the other game, Maxwell/St. Pat's fell 12-1. The Patriots jumped out to a big lead again and it was 12-0 after three innings. Maxwell/ St. Pat's found some offense in the top half of the fifth as they scored a run. They had three hits in the game; Breckyn Collins, Coy Baker, and Max Robinson.
Maxwell/St. Pat's is now 1-7 and will play Centennial on Tuesday and Central City/Centura on Saturday. After that, it's time for postseason play.
