Maxwell-St. Pat's had a busy week with four games. In their four games, they were unable to get a win.
On Thursday, they went to Hastings and took on Adams Central. In the first game, they lost 20-2. Andrew Brosius went 2-3 at the plate for Maxwell-St. Pat's.
Then, they played Adams Central again on Thursday and lost 17-5. They started out strong up 1-0 over Adams Central, but then the Patriots took over and scored two of their own in the bottom of the first inning and never looked back.
Easton Messersmith went 2-3 with one RBI and Ty Robinson went 2-3 with an RBI too.
On Saturday, Maxwell-St. Pat's played St. Paul/Palmer in a doubleheader. In the first game, they lost to the Wildcats, 9-8. Maxwell-St. Pat's found themselves down 4-1 heading into the 5th inning. Maxwell-St. Pat's then scored four runs and led 5-4. After that, St. Paul/Palmer was able to take the lead in the 6th inning and secure the win.
In their final game versus St. Paul/Palmer, they lost, 21-10. They had no problems putting up runs, but couldn't keep St. Paul Palmer from scoring.
Maxwell-St. Pat's is now 4-6 on the season and will play Centennial and Central City/Fullerton/Centura this week.
