Maxwell/St. Pat's had some time off as during the previous week they were snowed out of their game. This week though, they had one game scheduled and got it played. Maxwell/St. Pat's went to Aurora on Thursday to face the Huskies.
Aurora took care of business at home against Maxwell/St. Pat's, winning 18-7. Aurora started strong, up 3-0 at the end of one inning. In the top of the second though, Maxwell/St. Pat's went off on offense. Scoring six runs to lead 6-3 going to the bottom of the second.
Aurora though, countered with eight runs of their own to push that lead to 11-6. In the top of the third, Maxwell/St. Pat's scored a run to stay within striking distance, down 11-7. The Huskies didn't score in the bottom of the third, but in the bottom of the fourth, they put the game away. Aurora scored seven runs to make it 18-7.
Maxwell/St. Pat's didn't score in the top of the fifth, forcing the run rule.

On the mound, Maxwell St. Pat's had a nice performance from Kole Jones in relief with 1.2 innings pitched, allowing two runs and striking out five batters.
At the plate, Breckyn Collins went 2-3 with a pair of RBIs, Cyrrus Messersmith went 1-3 with a couple of RBIs, Isaac Irish was 2-3 with an RBI, Xavier Pieper was 1-3 with an RBI, and Kole Jones was 2-3 with an RBI.
Maxwell/St. Pat's is 0-4 and will be busy this week with a home game on Monday against Twin River and then on the road Friday against Sedgwick County.
