For the Maxwell-St. Pat's Baseball team, they got their season started this past week and they were strong out of the gates winning three games.
First, they took down Twin River on Monday by a large margin 11-4. Easton Messersmith was solid at the plate going 2-5 with an RBI and one run scored. Easton Jones on the mound with 4.2 innings and allowed just one hit and struck out 10 batters.
They played Twin River again that evening and came away with a win, in a much closer game as they beat the Titans 8-7. Ty Robinson went 2-2 and had an RBI.
Maxwell then played Sedwick County on Thursday and won big 14-6.
