The Arapahoe Bowling teams competed at Lexington on Tuesday last week for Districts and had a really nice showing. For the girls, Arapahoe was the top scorer as a team with 2669 to claim the District Title. This of course qualifies the girl's team for state. For Southern Valley, they competed in the B-6 district as well and they finished third with a score of 2155.
Also for Arapahoe, they had some individual medalists. For the girls, Anna tenBensel at 10th, Leigha Odell at 6th, Courtney Eidson 2nd, and Lauren Moore took 1st.
The girl's team will bowl at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday against Hastings. Lauren Moore and Courtney Edison will bowl as individuals on Wednesday at 1:00 P.M.
For the boys, Haiden VanHoutan placed 10th and Jacob Moore at 4th. Jacob Moore will bowl on Wednesday at 8:00 A.M.
State Bowling is held at Sun Valley Lanes in Lincoln.
