On Friday evening the teams on the West side played in Paxton.
In the consolation bracket, #5 seeded Wallace took on #6 seeded Maxwell. Maxwell was able to get the win with the final score reading 57-43.
The next matchup was #3 Paxton versus #4 Hitchcock County. The Tigers started out ahead 19-11 in the first quarter and never looked back. Rylin Johns and his 15 points led Paxton.
In the West final, it was a thriller between #1 seeded Maywood-Hayes Center and #2 seeded Dundy County Stratton. The Wolves were able to get the win 60-58. The Tigers had a chance with a few seconds remaining to tie it up, but were unable to score. DCS will now face #2 seed on the East side, Cambridge at 4:15 P.M. in the 3rd and 4th place game.
The Wolves will battle #5 seeded Bertrand from the East side at 7:45 P.M. for the RPAC championship
On the East side, games were played in Bertrand.
In the first game of the evening, it was #7 Medicine Valley versus #4 seeded Southern Valley. The Eagles got the win with the final score reading 51-40.
The next game of the night featured #1 seeded Alma taking on #3 seed Arapahoe. The Cardinals nabbed the win 52-32.
In the East final, it was #5 seeded Bertrand versus #2 seeded Cambridge. Bertrand was able to get the win, 45-35. Cambridge will face the #2 seed on the West, DCS at 4:15 P.M. in the 3rd and 4th place game.
For Bertrand, they will play #1 seed from the West Maywood-Hayes Center at 7:45 P.M. for the RPAC Title.
All games on Saturday will be played in McCook at the MCC Graff Event Center.
