Alma hosted Northern Valley, KS on Tuesday and had a big 67-39 win. The Cardinals hosted Cambridge on Friday to close out their regular season and was able to come away with a 46-36 victory. Alma improves to 15-3 and is the #1 seed in the D1-10 subdistrict. They are hosting the subdistrict and will play the winner of #4 Axtell and #5 Loomis on Tuesday at 6:00 P.M.
Arapahoe traveled to Cambridge on Tuesday and fell 61-50. Berkley Warner paced the Warriors with 28 points, eight rebounds, and five assists. Sabrina Jacobsen added 10 points and six rebounds. Arapahoe traveled to Bertrand on Friday and had a big bounce back game with a 44-20 win. Jacobsen led the way with 16 points, five rebounds, and seven steals while Warner added 10 points and four steals. The Warriors ended the regular season 12-10 and earned the #2 seed in the D1-10 subdistrict. They will play #3 seeded Elm Creek on Tuesday in Alma at 7:30 P.M.
Bertrand traveled to Blue Hill on Tuesday and lost a tight one, 48-43. Addison Andersen paced the Vikings with 16 points, four rebounds, and three assists while Libby Kugler 12 points and seven rebounds. Bertrand then hosted Arapahoe on Friday night and fell 44-20. Emma Brown lead the way with six points and 10 rebounds. On Saturday, the Vikings traveled to Kenesaw and picked up a 31-25 win. Aislin Kidder paced them with 12 points and five rebounds. Bertrand improved to 2-16 on the year. Bertrand is the #3 seed in the D2-8 subdistrict and will play #2 seeded Overton in Wilcox-Hildreth on Tuesday at 7:30 P.M.
Cambridge hosted Arapahoe on Tuesday and was able to defeat the Warriors, 61-50. Jacey Kent lead the Trojans with 18 points and eight rebounds, Erin Johnson added 16 points and six rebounds, and Breelle Miller tallied 12 points, six assists, and five rebounds. Cambridge travels to Norton, KS on Thursday and lost a close one, 39-37. Brylyn Springer paced the Trojans with 13 points while Jalen Kent added 11 points. Alma hosted Cambridge on Friday night and defeated the Trojans, 46-36. Springer led the way with 16 points. Cambridge is now 11-10 on the season and earned the #2 seed for the D1-11 subdistrict hosted by Maywood-Hayes Center. They will play #3 Sandhills Valley on Tuesday at 7:30 P.M. in Hayes Center.
Dundy County Stratton traveled to North Platte St. Pat's on Tuesday where the fell, 49-26. The Tigers hosted Southern Valley on Thursday where they were defeated 44-22. The Tigers closed out the regular season with a home matchup with Chase County and fell 55-12. Dundy County Stratton is 5-16 and has earned the #4 seed in the D2-9 subdistrict. The Tigers will play #5 Wallace at 6:30 P.M. on Monday at Wauneta-Palisade.
Hitchcock County hosted Chase County on Tuesday where they fell, 54-23. Katie Jarecke paced the Falcons with seven points. Hitchcock County traveled to Wallace on Friday and were able to bounce back from their previous loss with a 66-57 win over the Wildcats. Raegan Hagan paced the Falcons with 19 points and five rebounds. Jarecke added 13 points, Byanka Tyan added 11 points, and Karstyn Porter added 10 points. The Falcons are 5-16 as they finished the regular season and have earned the #3 seed in the D2-9 subdistrict. They will play #2 seeded Medicine Valley on Tuesday at 7:30 P.M. at Wauneta-Palisade.
Maxwell hosted Sutherland on Tuesday and lost a really close game, 36-35. The Wildcats then hosted Medicine Valley on Thursday and fell 60-44. Maxwell closed the regular season out with a record of 2-19 and have earned the #5 seed in the D1-11 subdistrict. They will play #4 seeded Hi-Line on Monday at 6:30 P.M. in Hayes Center.
Maywood-Hayes Center hosted South Platte on Tuesday and defeated the Blue Knights, 54-37. Olivia Hansen led the way with 18 points, Ashlin Broz added 15 points, while Kiley Hejtmanek also added 15 points and 10 rebounds. The Wolves traveled to Wauneta-Palisade on Friday and defeated the Broncos, 59-47. Hansen had 20 points while Karissa Stengel added 18 points. Maywood-Hayes Center is 21-1 on the season and earned the #1 seed in the D1-11 subdistrict earning the hosting rights. They will play the winner of #4 Hi-Line and #5 Maxwell on Tuesday at 6:00 P.M. in Hayes Center.
Medicine Valley was able to pick up a win over Hi-Line on Monday as they defeated the Bulls, 51-44. Stella Heapy and Remmi Stout both posted 16 points and nine rebounds for the Raiders. On Thursday, Medicine Valley defeated Maxwell on the road, 60-44. Heapy had 25 points, eight assists, seven rebounds, and four steals while Sienna Houghtelling had 12 points, six rebounds, and five steals. Kylie Rose added 11 points for the Raiders. Medicine Valley defeated Brady 54-24 at home. Heapy had 17 points, Houghtelling had 13 points, and Stout added 10 points. The Raiders are 11-9 as they finished out the regular season and they earned the #2 seed in the D2-9 subdistrict. They will play #3 Hitchcock County at 7:30 P.M. at Wauneta-Palisade on Tuesday.
Paxton hosted Hershey on Tuesday and fell, 76-36. Jacelyn Jorgensen had 16 points and eight rebounds for the Tigers. On Thursday, the Tigers traveled to Sutherland where they were able to bounce back with a 44-34 victory over the Sailors. Jorgensen lead the way with 18 points, 13 rebounds, and five steals while Ella Fote added 11 points. The Tigers finished the regular season with a record of 13-6 and have earned the #1 seed in the D2-10 subdistrict. They earned hosting rights and will play #4 Creek Valley on Tuesday at 5:00 P.M. (MT).
Southern Valley traveled to Gibbon on Tuesday and defeated the Buffaloes, 62-27. Ann Bose lead the way with 16 points, Brynn Baily added 15 points and seven rebounds, and Adi Hunt added 11 points and eight rebounds. The Eagles hit the road to Dundy County Stratton on Thursday and earned a 47-23 victory. Bose had 15 points and Baily added 13 points. The Eagles are 18-3 and earned the #1 seed in the C2-11 subdistrict and will host. They will play the winner of #4 South Loup and #5 Sutherland on Tuesday at 6:00 P.M.
Southwest hosted Wallace on Tuesday and picked up the 58-36 win. Caylin Barnett had 28 points and six steals while Kyra Nelms added 11 points for the Roughriders. Axtell came to town for Southwest on Friday and the Roughriders took care of business as they defeated the Wildcats, 50-19. Kyra Nelms lead the way with 18 points while Atleigh Nelms added 10 points. Southwest finished the regular season with a 14-6 record and earned the #3 seed in the C2-11 subdistrict. They will play #2 North Platte St. Pat's on Tuesday at 7:45 P.M. at Southern Valley.
Wallace traveld to Southwest on Tuesday and lost to the Roughriders, 58-36. Karlie Finley lead the way with 18 point and 11 rebounds. Wallace hosted Hitchcock County on Friday and fell, 66-57. Kaley Saucer lead the way with 18 points, Finley added 15 points, and Kendyl Flaming added 11 points for the Wildcats. They finish the regular season with a 6-12 record and earned the #5 seed in the D2-9 subdistrict. They will play #4 Dundy County Stratton at Wauneta-Palisade on Monday at 6:30 P.M.
