RPAC GIRL'S BASKETBALL RESULTS AS OF 2/26


  • Alma was seeded #6 and hosted the D1-6 District final game and lost to #11 SEM, 70-56. To read more about this game, check it out here. Alma finished their season with a 17-4 record.



  • Maywood-Hayes Center was the #9 seed in the D1-8 district final held at Kearney Catholic against #8 Elgin Public/Pope John. The Wolves had the 20-18 lead as they went into the half but momentum shifted to the Wolfpack for the second half as they outscored Maywood-Hayes Center 31-25 to defeat the Wolves, 49-45. Olivia Hansen lead the way with 16 points, 10 rebounds, and six steals while Ashlin Broz also added 16 points. Maywood-Hayes Center finished their year with a 23-2 record.


  • Medicine Valley earned the #15 seed and traveled to take on the host and #2 seeded Shelton in the D2-2 district final. The Bulldogs jumped to out to an 11-7 lead after the first quarter and never looked back. They were able to defeat the Raiders, 61-30. Stella Heapy lead the way with 12 points and eight rebounds and Remmi Stout added 10 points and seven rebounds. Medicine Valley ended their season with a 13-10 record.



  • Southern Valley was the #6 seed in the C2-6 district final and battled #11 Archbishop Bergan. The Eagles jumped out to a narrow lead after the first half, 21-14. They were able to hold off a run from Archbishop Bergan in the second half to punch their tickets to state. Southern Valley was able to hold on for a 45-42 victory. Ann Bose lead the way with 14 points while Adi Hunt added 12 points. The Eagles improve to 21-3 on the year and are the #6 seed at the state tournament. Southern Valley will play #3 GACC on Thursday at the Bob Devaney Sports Center at 3:15 P.M. For more state information, click here.


  • Paxton earned the #14 seed in the D2-3 district final against #3 St. Mary's. The Cardinals jumped out to the early lead and never looked back as they defeated the Tigers, 75-42. Ella Fote lead the way with 13 points and Jacelyn Jorgensen added 10 points and 10 rebounds. Paxton finished their season with a 15-7 record.
