The Cambridge golf squad had a pair of meets this week as they were at the Minden Quad on Tuesday and then on Thursday, they competed at the GICC invite and Southwest also attended the GICC invite on Thursday.
Cambridge's Emma Rasmussen had a solid day at the Minden quad as she shot a score of 48. Head coach, Lyle Calvert had this to say about Emma's performance, "Emma played great all day and was really impressive with her work around the greens. It saved her a lot of strokes being able to chip the ball close to the hole and make some putts."Mileeya Monter shot 65 and Hailey Evans shot 78.

Cambridge's Mileeya Monter finished 53rd with a score of 135. Coach Calvert had this to say about Mileeya's performance, "Mileeya is starting to strike the ball with confidence and consistency. It is fun to see her growing and expecting more from herself." Hailey Evans shot 154 to finish 63rd. "Hailey is learning more at each and every meet in her young career. She showed a lot of improvement putting on Thursday-18 putts on the back 9 which is her season best!" said Calvert.
For Southwest, Elizabeth Townsend finished 46th with a score of 172, Maddie Tyron finished 57th and shot 141, Ella Cure shot 145 to place 59th, and in 60th was Abigail Sedlacek with a score of 146.
