Bertrand Triangular: 3/21
Bertrand hosted a triangular last Tuesday with Alma and Holdrege. *NOTE Coaches complied their own records for this meet.*
In the 100-meter dash, Ella Brown of Bertrand finished with a time of 14.9 seconds while Emma Bantam of Alma finished with a time of 18.8 seconds. In the 200, Samantha Stone of Alma finished with a time of 33.2 seconds.
In the 400, Stone of Alma ran a time of 76.0. In the 800, Alma's Chase Molzhan ran with a final time of 3:08.8 and Bertrand's Ashlynn Edgren finished with a time of 3:14.1.
For the 1600-meter run, Addison Neal of Alma finished with a time of 6:06.0 and Edgren of Bertrand finished with a time of 7:07.7. In the 3200-meter run, Neal of Alma finished with a time of 13:51.5 and Addison Hansen of Bertrand ran 16:21.6.
In the 100-meter hurdles, Aislin Kidder of Bertrand finished with a time of 18.3 and Shelby Schoene finished with a time of 18.3. In the 300-meter hurdles, Kidder of Bertrand ran a 53.3 and Schoene of Bertrand finished with a time of 53.5.
Alma's 4x100 meter relay composed of Miley Whitney, Sabrina Schemper, Addison Pool, and Elizabeth Dubs ran a time of 60.5. Alma's 4x400 meter relay with Schemper, Molzhan, Whitney, and Neal finished with a time of 5:10.5.
In the shot put, Gentri Goldfish of Bertrand threw 31'5.5" and Alee Shicksnider of Alma threw 23'4". In the discus throw, Gracey Hinson of Bertrand had a toss of 90'5" and Eden Johnson of Alma threw 71'11".
Alma's Molzhan had a jump of 4'8" in the high jump with Kidder and Edgren of Bertrand both had jumps of 4'4". In the pole vault, Schemper of Alma vaulted 8'0" while Schoene and Kidder of Bertrand also vaulted 8'0".
In long jump, Brown of Bertrand had a jump of 13'7" while Pool from Alma jumped 11'8.5". In triple jump, Emma Bantam of Alma jumped 17'1".
Hi-Line Quad: 3/23
Wallace and Medicine Valley attended the Hi-Line quad last Thursday.
In the 100-meter dash, Kylie Rose of Medicine Valley placed 1st with a time of 13.99, Stella Heapy of Medicine Valley placed 2nd with a time of 14.25 seconds, and Mallory McConnell of Wallace placed 8th with a time of 15.59 seconds. In the 200-meter dash, Brooke Bryant of Wallace placed 3rd with a time of 31.15 seconds and teammate Devin Giesselmann placed 8th with a time of 33.29 seconds.
In the 400-meter dash, Bryant of Wallace placed 2nd with a time of 1:13.83 and McConnell of Wallace placed 3rd with 1:17.08. Ryleigh Hanson of Wallace finished 2nd with a time of 2:43.12, Kaley Saucer of Wallace finished 3rd with a time of 2:45.47, Reagan Pelster finished 4th with a time of 2:49.78, Heapy of Medicine Valley finished 5th with a time of 2:55.46, and Angelica Vazquez finished 6th with a time of 3:15.05.
In the 1600-meter run, Wallace swept the top three places with Sauser finishing 1st with a time of 6:09.14, Ashley Robertson placed 2nd with a time of 6:14.68, and Elliana Robertson placed 3rd with a time of 6:44.83. In the 3200-meter run it was the same story with Wallace sweeping the top three places with Dajana Garrison placing 1st with a time of 13:32.86, A. Robertson placed 2nd with a time of 14:03.89, and E. Robertson placed 3rd with a time of 14:46.49.
In the 100-meter hurdles, Wallace had three placers with Kendyl Flaming placed 1st with a time of 16.94, Karlie Finley placed 2nd with a time of 19.62 seconds, and Mariana Aceves-Lopez placed 4th with a time of 21.19. In the 300-meter hurdles, Flaming placed 1st with a time of 50.85 seconds and Aceves-Lopez placed 2nd with a time of 56.10.
In the 4x100 meter relay, Wallace placed 2nd with a time of 57.29 with Finley, McConnell, Angelica Vazquez, and Bryant while Medicine Valley placed 3rd with a time of 57.63 with Kylie Rose, Remmi Stout, Khloe Elsten, and Kamree Elsten. In the 4x400 meter relay, Wallace placed 1st with a time of 4:32.29 with Aceves-Lopez, Garrison, Hanson, and Flaming and Medicine Valley placed 2nd with a time of 4:59.75 with Rose, Stout, Kamree Elsten, and Jordiya Phillips. In the 4x800 meter relay, Wallace placed 1st with a time of 11:13.50 with Aceves-Lopez, Hanson, Pelster, and Sauser.
In the shot put, Finley of Wallace placed 1st with a throw of 30'7.75", Milla Farr of Medicine Valley placed 3rd with a throw of 29'7.5", Kendall McClintock of Wallace placed 4th with a throw of 26'6.5", and Pelster placed 5th with a throw of 24'3". In the discus, Farr placed 2nd with a toss of 88'1" and Stout of Medicine Valley placed 3rd with a throw of 87'3". McClintock placed 4th with a throw of 76'11" and Devon Giesselmann of Wallace placed 5th with a throw of 73'2". Sienna Houghtelling of Medicine Valley placed 7th with a throw of 68'10" and Pelster placed 8th with a toss of 66'10".
In high jump, Flaming of Wallace placed 1st with a jump of 4'8", Heapy of Medicine Valley placed 2nd with 4'8" and McConnell of Wallace placed 4th with a jump of 4'6".
In long jump, Heapy of Medicine Valley placed 1st with a jump of 14'10", Finley of Wallace placed 2nd with a jump of 14'0.25, Garrison of Wallace placed 3rd with a jump of 13'10.75", and Hanson placed 8th with a jump of 11'6". In triple jump, Bryant of Wallace jumped 29'2.5", Khloe Elsten of Medicine Valley placed 2nd with a jump of 28'10.5", Vazquez of Wallace placed 3rd with a leap of 26'9.25", and Giesselmann of Wallace placed 4th with a jump of 25'8.25".
Holdrege Invite: 3/24
Dundy County Stratton placed 6th with 40 points and Southwest placed 7th with 28 points.
In the 100-meter dash, Clara Spargo of DCS placed 1st with a time of 12.9 seconds and Kayana Riley of DCS placed 7th with a time of 13.89 seconds. Spargo also took the gold in the 200-meter dash with a time of 26.19 seconds.
In the 800-meter run, Lexie Yrkoski of DCS placed 3rd with a time of 2:37.67.
In the 100-meter hurdles, Anastasia Gallegos of Southwest placed 2nd with a time of 17.48 seconds. In the 300-meter hurdles, Gallegos also placed 2nd with a time of 51.35 seconds.
In the 4x100 meter relay, DCS placed 2nd with a time of 53.34 which was ran by Spargo, Emma Baldeh, Alyssa Schneider, and Riley. Southwest placed 3rd with a time of 54.83 ran by Caylin Barnett, Gallegos, Payton Truksa, and Allison Van Pelt. In the 4x400 meter relay DCS placed 4th with a time of 4:30.86 seconds ran by Yrkoski, Schneider, Baldeh, and Spargo.
In the shot put, Holly Hylton of DCS placed 5th with a throw of 31'7" and Kiana Martin of Southwest placed 7th with a throw of 30'6". In the discus, Martin had a toss of 105'11" to place her 4th.
In high jump, Caitlyn Adams and Truksa of Southwest tied for 7th with a tie of 4'6".
In long jump, Barnett of Southwest placed 5th with a leap of 14'7.5" while teammate Bryn Lampe placed 8th with a jump of 14'3".
Wilcox-Hildreth Invite: 3/24
Cambridge placed 3rd with 59.5 points, Alma placed 9th with 26 points, Bertrand placed 12th with 20 points, and Arapahoe placed 14th with 2 points.
In the 100-meter dash, JoLie Farr of Cambridge placed 4th with a time of 13.80 seconds. In the 200-meter dash, it was Farr again who placed 5th with a time of 28.11 seconds.
Naomi Gutierrez of Arapahoe placed 7th in the 400-meter run with a time of 1:10.78 seconds. Breelle Miller of Cambridge placed 5th in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:49.71.
In the 1600-meter run, Brenna Deterding of Cambridge placed 1st with a time of 6:08.96, Addison Neal of Alma placed 3rd with a time of 6:18.29, Rachel Harris of Cambridge placed 4th with a time of 6:21.49, and Kori Koeppen placed 7th with a time of 6:36.17. In the 3200-meter run, Neal of Alma placed 2nd with a time of 13:22.60, Deterding of Cambridge placed 4th with a time of 13:39.10, Koeppen of Cambridge placed 5th with a time of 14:04.76, and Harris of Cambridge placed 7th with a time of 14:25.29.
In the 100-meter hurdles Aislin Kidder of Bertrand placed 3rd with a time of 18.36 seconds. In the 300-meter hurdles, Jalen Kent of Cambridge placed 3rd with a time of 54.20, Shelby Schoene of Bertrand placed 5th with a time of 55.0, and Berkley Warner of Arapahoe placed 7th with a time of 55.82.
In the 4x100 meter relay, Cambridge placed 3rd with a time of 56.94 seconds ran by Farr, Jacey Kent, Miller, and Jordyn Cross. In the 4x400 meter relay, Cambridge placed 2nd with a time of 4:39.96 ran by Deterding, Jalen Kent, Miller, and Harris; Arapahoe placed 6th with a time of 5:01.4 ran by Peyton Sich, Chloe Gooden, Emma Strand, and Gutierrez; and Alma placed 7th with a time of 5:06.92 ran by Sabrina Schemper, Miley Whitney, Neal, and Samantha Stone. In the 4x800 meter relay, Cambridge placed 1st with a time of 11:02.23 which was ran by Deterding, Jalen Kent, Miller, and Harris and Arapahoe placed 7th with a time of 13:26.22 and was ran by Sich, Anna tenBensel, Candence Carpenter, and Sage Larson.
In high jump, Chase Molzhan of Alma placed 4th with a jump of 4'8" and Kidder of Bertrand jumped 4'6" to place 5th. In the pole vault, Schemper of Alma placed 2nd with a jump of 8', Kidder placed 4th with a jump of 7'6", Bailee Ahlmeyer of Cambridge tied for 5th with a jump of 7'6", Sich of Arapahoe placed 6th with a jump of 7'6", and Schoene of Bertrand placed 8th with a jump of 7'.
In the triple jump, Gutierrez of Arapahoe placed 5th with a jump of 32'8" and Jacey Kent of Cambridge placed 8th with a jump of 31'2.5".
