Last Thursday the RPAC was represented by some of the best players in the Conference in the New West All-Star Classic in Minden. They were slated to take on the FKC, another conference with solid talent all the way around.
The RPAC was able to win easily though, 71-40.
The first quarter was a little bit slow, as the teams were finding their footing but by the end of it, both squads found a little rhythm. the FKC led, 11-10.
In the second quarter, the three-pointers started falling and the RPAC took complete control up 37-15 at the intermission.
In the second half, the RPAC Girls team had no plans of slowing down either. They put up another 17 points in the quarter and led 54-31 going into the final period.
In the final stanza, the RPAC just kept rolling as they scored 17 points while holding the FKC to nine.
Kiley Hejtmanek of Maywood-Hayes Center took home the MVP with 19 points.
