RPAC Golf Results as of 4/13



It was another busy week for RPAC Golfers and we saw some awesome performances from the athletes.


Hi-Line Invite on 4/8


Hi-Line hosted their invite on Tuesday at Lakeside Country Club at Johnson Lake. This will be the host site for many conference schools when districts come around. The weather was cold and windy, which was bad for the golfers. Let's dive into the results.

Hi-Line


The Bulls finished as the team runner-up. Zach Whittaker took 9th with an 85, and Karter Tilson shot an 87 and took 15th place. The Bulls are really showing their depth, and we will see how they utilize that the rest of the season. Their JV had a nice showing too.





Arapahoe


Arapahoe finished 7th as a team with a 378. Briggs Hill was solid again this week. Hill took 14th, shooting an 87. The next top golfer was Chris Hermes with a 94, finishing 29th.




Cambridge


The Trojans finished 8t with a 382. Micah Gerlach kept up his strong play, finishing 4th with an 82. Maverick Webb was 37th with a 97.


Alma


Alma took 10th with a 396. Due to the ACT, they were missing three varsity golfers. Grady Faimon was excellent for the Cardinals, taking 13th with an 86. Crew Bennett finished 23rd with a 90.


Southern Valley


The Eagles took 12th with a 401. Jace Hammond shot a 97 with a 39th place finish and Jacob Rice took 55th with a 105.


Medicine Valley


The Raiders finished 14th with a 417. Tyce Pate finished 24th with a 90. Brody Senff finished 56th with a 105.


Bertrand


The Vikings finished 16th with a 463. Payton Way finished 48th with a 101, and Quentin Mumm took 50th with a 101.





DCS Invite on 4/8


The weather was drastically different in Benkelman for their invite. It was nearly 80 degrees, a little breezy but not bad at all. It was an RPAC Rundown Featured Event, so you can read the full story here.

Alma


For Alma, Team #2, William VanBoening and Titus Epp, had a solid day, shooting a 78 as a pairing. That was good enough for 5th. Crew Benntt and Grady Faimon were Team #1, shooting an 84. They finished 8th.


Hi-Line


Hi-Line was in attendance, too. Hi-Line Team #1, consisting of Hudson Weeder and Zach Whittaker, shot a 76, which placed them second. Hi-Line Team #2, consisting of Collin Shutts and Gavin Tilson, shot an 85 and finished ninth. Hi-Line Team #4, consisting of Hunter Kugler and Parker Schutz, shot an 88 and finished 10th.





South Loup Invite on 4/11


Sutherland went to the South Loup Invite on Friday, and they had an excellent day.

Sutherland


As you can see, it was a massive day for the Sailors, who took the team title with a 336. Also, Grady Demcpy shooting a 71 and winning individually was big, and Ryker Copeland took 7th with an 84 and Easton Smith 8th with an 85.
