Here at the RPAC Rundown, we have some exciting news to share. Well, it's exciting for both us and CAMAS Publishing as we will be collaborating on a project. For this upcoming fall sports season, we are putting together a magazine covering the RPAC schools and their respective athletic sports teams that are competing.
The magazine will also have some interesting features and stories throughout out too.
The RPAC Rundown is approaching its first year of covering the conference and is excited to expand on its coverage.
CAMAS Publishing produces the weekly newspaper, "The Valley Voice" which is owned by Cody Gerlach who has an extensive background in journalism and made a major impression on me (Evan) as I started my journalism journey nine years ago.
The Valley Voice is the combined coverage of the Arapahoe Mirror, the Beaver City Times-Tribune, Cambridge Clarion, Elwood Bulletin, Indianola News, and Oxford Standard. Cody also publishes the Frontier County Enterprise. For more information check out the website for the Valley Voice here.
It is funny how these things come about. Here at the RPAC Rundown, we were thinking we'd take the summer and drum up some ideas on how we can expand coverage. Then a few days later, Cody stops us during a walk through the park and says we should do this.
Timing is everything.
We are so excited to get this magazine out to you and have even more in-depth coverage with the help of others.
The target date to have hard copies in hand is early to mid-August before the season is in full swing.
