We featured the Bertrand wrestling program in our second episode of the RPAC Rundown Preseason Spotlight series. Bertrand is entering their first season as the Vikings since 2007 as they have been consolidated with Loomis since the 2008 season.
Bertrand is under first-time head coach, Colby Gardine, who is a graduate of Bertrand and he has a small group of as they have eight boys and one girl. Senior Gabriel Bojorquez has stepped up as the lone senior to really try and guide this team in the right direction.
Gardine talks about how he is approaching his coaching with such a young and inexperienced group. Gardine is excited for the season to begin and for the kids to get their feet wet because he is excited for their potential.
