RPAC Rundown spent November 22nd with the Southern Valley Girls Basketball team. After a Class D1 State Runner-Up finish in 2024 and qualifying for the State Tournament in 2023, the Eagles are hungry to finish what they started. An added challenge is that they are moving to Class C2 this year and must adjust to playing with a shot clock.
Southern Valley is led by Head Coach Richard McDonald and a solid group of girls who have started or played many varsity minutes. We chatted with seniors Adi Hunt, Taylee Becker, Brecklyn Hammond, Brynn Baily, Vanesa Aguayo, junior Tori Bose, and Coach McDonald.
