RPAC Softball Results as of 10/4


Well, the regular season is complete for softball and on Monday, the postseason begins. This last week the Southern Valley/Alma Saints played a trio of games and went 1-2.


On Tuesday they hosted their own triangular with Chase County and Kearney Catholic.





They started with a win over Chase County, 11-0. The Saints scored four runs in the bottom half of the first and then two in the second and five in the third. They had five hits as a team and forced 11 walks. Jorja Hammond had a nice game at the plate going 1-2 with two RBI's. Brynn Baily was 2-2 with an RBI, Amy Luke was 1-1 with an RBI, Hayden Deyle was 1-2 with an RBI, and Zalie White had an RBI.





Deyle pitched too and went four innings allowing one hit and had five strikeouts.





The Saints faced Kearney Catholic and lost 15-3. It was two big innings for Kearney Catholic, seven runs in the first and six in the third inning. Baily led the Saints with two RBI's and went 2-2. Mikah Schultz was 2-2. Eden Johnson was 1-1 with an RBI.




On Thursday the Saints played against Kearney Catholic on the road and lost 13-0. Southern Valley/Alma had two hits and Kaitlyn Bradley and Natalee Holstee each had a hit.





The Saints are 15-10 and will begin subdistrict play on Monday in the C-3 sub. Check out the subdistrict here. The Saints will play Malcolm on Monday at 3:00 P.M. at Timmerman Park in West Point and the winner will play GACC or Wilber Clatonia at 5:00 P.M.
