RPAC Track Results as of 3/23

Guess what? Track season started! Even with a midweek blizzard, that didn't stop teams from getting on the track this week. And school records were broken. We will be in for a fun spring; check out our first track results blog for the year!



UNK Indoor Class D Boys Results, 3/20

No team scores were kept. We will begin with the boy's results.


In the 60-meter dash, Grayson Koller of Arapahoe placed 1st with a time of 7.28, Thunder Nelson of Bertrand placed 3rd with a time of 7.37, and Jorge Valadez of Wallace placed 6th with a time of 7.57.


In the 200-meter dash, Hayden Sich of Arapahoe placed 3rd with a time of 25.37, Ryan Werkmeister of Maywood-Hayes Center placed 5th with a time of 25.81, Matthew Millers of Bertrand placed 7th with a time of 26.14, and Hunter Nelson of Bertrand placed 8th with a time of 26.18.


In the 400-meter dash, Sich of Arapahoe placed 4th with a time of 57.71, and Millers of Bertrand placed 5th with 58.57.


In the 800-meter run, Will Cacy of Arapahoe placed 1st with a time of 2:17.51, Jacob Barber of Southwest placed 3rd with a time of 2:25.00, Isaac Sinsel of Sutherland placed 4th with a time of 2:25.73, and Deric Kelley of Southwest placed 6th with a time of 2:29.92.


In the 1600-meter run, Marcus Hernandez of Bertrand placed 2nd with a time of 5:06.81, and Tristan Manary of Wallace placed 4th with a time of 5:20.04.


Max Hanson of Wallace placed 2nd in the 3200-meter run with a time of 11:48.57.


In the 60-meter hurdles, Kade Fisher of Arapahoe placed 3rd with a time of 9.05, and Sawyer Dibbern of Maywood-Hayes Center placed 5th with a time of 9.80.


In the 4x400-meter relay, Bertrand placed 3rd with a time of 3:59.78, run by Rhett Brown, Kayden Hatdield, Hernandez, and Eric Wood; Maywood-Hayes Center placed 5th with a time of 4:03.42, run by Kade Broz, Werkmeister, Rubiel Lopez, and Dibbern; and Sutherland placed 7th with a time of 4:08.60, run by Jackson Saner, Keigan Kershner, Kale Martinez, and Maddox McManigal.


In the 4x800-meter relay, Wallace placed 1st with a time of 9:23.73, run by M. Hanson, Manary, Wyatt Robertson, and Bradley Hanson. Arapahoe placed 2nd with a time of 9:59.85, run by Cacy, Lael Rathbun, Thomas Magorian, and Hudson Sich.


In the high jump, Dibbern of Maywood-Hayes Center placed 4th with a jump of 5'8", and Derek Potter of Bertrand placed 8th with a jump of 5'4".


In pole vault, Hernandez of Bertrand placed 1st with a vault of 14'4", Isaac Hernandez of Bertrand placed 3rd with a vault of 13'0", Saner of Sutherland placed 4th with a vault of 12'6", Gage Hammond of Southwest placed 5th with a vault of 11'0", Tristan Woolf of Sutherland placed 6th with a vault of 10'6", and Wood of Bertrand placed 7th with a vault of 10'0".


T. Nelson of Bertrand placed 1st in the long jump with a leap of 21'4.5", Dibber on Maywood-Hayes Center placed 3rd with a jump of 19'8", Alex Diaz of Arapahoe placed 5th with a jump of 19'1.5", and Valadez of Wallace placed 8th with a leap of 18'5".


In the triple jump, T. Nelson of Bertrand placed 1st with a jump of 42'2", Brown of Bertrand placed 5th with a jump of 28'8.5", Diaz of Arapahoe placed 7th with a jump of 36'9.5", and Steven Werkmeister of Maywood-Hayes Center placed 8th with a jump of 36'7".


In shot put, Logan Turley of Southwest placed 6th with a toss of 38'10.5", and Kelley of Southwest placed 8th with a throw of 38'0".



UNK Indoor Class D Girls Results, 3/20


In the 60-meter dash, Ava Messersmith of Maywood-Hayes Center placed 1st with a time of 8.37, Alyssa Koch of Southwest placed 3rd with a time of 8.53, and Ruby McCune of Arapahoe placed 7th with a time of 8.73.


In the 200-meter dash, McCune of Arapahoe placed 2nd with a time of 29.00.


In the 400-meter dash, Messersmith of Maywood-Hayes Center placed 1st with a time of 63.26, Desi Farner of Arapahoe placed 2nd with a time of 64.41, Suttyn Shafer of Arapahoe placed 6th with a time of 67.50, Sawyer Shafer of Arapahoe placed 7th with a time of 67.74, and Jillian Johnson of Maywood-Hayes Center placed 8th with a time of 69.19.


Addison Richards of Maywood-Hayes Center placed 1st in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:33.87, Kaley Sauser of Wallace placed 3rd with a time of 2:49.31, and Elliana Robertson of Wallace placed 6th with a time of 2:57.08.


In the 1600-meter run, Ashley Robertson of Wallace placed 1st with a time of 5:37.82, Sauser of Wallace placed 2nd with a time of 6:08.57, and Grace Andrews of Arapahoe placed 8th with a time of 6:44.86.


In the 3200-meter run, A. Robertson of Wallace placed 1st with a time of 12:36.48, E. Roberston of Wallace placed 3rd with a time of 14:09.02, Andrews of Arapahoe placed 5th with a time of 14:34.58, and Agneshka Sankey of Maywood-Hayes Center placed 7th with a time of 14:40.16.


In the 60-meter hurdles, Anastasia Gallegos placed 1st with a time of 10.16, Kesli Cox of Maywood-Hayes Center placed 4th with a time of 10.84, Emma Strand of Arapahoe placed 8th with a time of 11.32.


In the 4x400-meter relay, Maywood-Hayes Center placed 1st with a time of 4:28.10 and was run by Blayklee Farr, Messersmith, Reagan Stengel, and Richards; Arapahoe placed 2nd with a time of 4:28.42 and was run by Sawyer Shafer, McCune, Suttyn Shafer, and Farner; Bertrand placed 4th with a time of 4:47.48 and was run by Addison Andersen, Autumn McNierney, Adrian Sand, and Shelby Schoene; and Sutherland placed 8th with a time of 5:01.13 and was run by Maleah Vasquez, Fallyn Elfeldt, Mahala Vasquez, and Leah Harper.


In the 4x800-meter relay, Maywood-Hayes Center placed 1st with a time of 10:39.01 and was run by Stengel, Caylie Softley, Karissa Stengel, and Richards; Arapahoe placed 3rd with a time of 11:38.35 and was run by Sawyer Shafer, Suttyn Shafer, Strand, and Andrews; and Bertrand placed 4th with a time of 11:39.42 and was ran by Andersen, McNierney, Livia Philips, and Sand.


In the high jump, Aspen Billeter of Southwest placed 2nd with a leap of 5'0", and K. Stengel of Maywood-Hayes Center placed 8th with a jump of 4'6".


In pole vault, Ambie Custard of Southwest placed 2nd with a vault of 10'0", Schoene of Bertrand placed 3rd with a vault of 9'0", Koch of Southwest placed 4th with a vault of 8'0", Rylan Custard of Southwest placed 5th with a vault of 8'0", Philips of Bertrand placed 6th with a vault of 7'6", and Harper of Sutherland placed 8th with a vault of 7'0".


In long jump, Farner of Arapahoe placed 7th with a jump of 14'2".


In triple jump, Billeter of Southwest placed 5th with a jump of 31'5", Kady Fisher of Maywood-Hayes Center placed 6th with a jump of 31'0.5", and Reagan Finley of Wallace placed 8th with a jump of 29'8.5".


In shot put, Atleigh Nelms of Southwest finished 9th with a toss of 30'2".



Trojan Relays, 3/21

Cambridge, Hi-Line, Southern Valley, and Southwest attended Cambridge's relay-style meet.


Boys Team Scores:

  1. Cambridge - 84

  2. Hi-Line - 64

  3. Southern Valley - 36


In the high jump, Hi-Line took first with a compiled height of 16'6", and Cambridge took second with a height of 14'8". Hi-Line's Kane Cochrane set a new CO-OP record in the high jump; congrats, Kane!

In the pole vault, Hi-Line took 1st with a total height of 26'0", and Southern Valley took 2nd with a total height of 25'0.


Cambridge placed 1st in shot put with a total distance of 109'4" and 1st in discus with a total distance of 262'4".


In long jump, Hi-Line took 1st with a total distance of 55'0".


In the distance medley relay (1200, 400, 800, 1600), Cambridge took 1st with a time of 12:56.95, Southern Valley took 2nd with a time of 13:59.48, and Hi-Line took 3rd with a time of 14:12.08.


In the 400-meter relay, the Trojans took 1st with a time of 48.01 and the Eagles took 2nd with a time of 57.81.


Cambridge placed 1st in the 1600-meter relay with a time of 4:00.63, Hi-Line placed 2nd with a time of 4:01.43, and Southern Valley placed 3rd with a time of 4:07.39.


In the 3200-meter relay, Cambridge was the lone team and ran a time of 10:21.83.


In the sprint medley relay (100, 100, 200, 400), the Bulls placed 1st with a time of 1:47.89, the Trojans placed 2nd with a time of 1:57.44, and the Eagles took 3rd with a time of 2:04.63.


In the 800-meter relay, Hi-Line placed 1st with a time of 1:43.65, and Cambridge placed 2nd with a time of 1:45.02.




Now for the girl's results.

Girls Team Scores:

In high jump, Southern Valley placed 1st with a total height of 12'10," and in pole vault, took 1st with a total height of 19'6".


In shot put, Cambridge placed 1st with a total distance of 86'2", Hi-Line placed 2nd with a total distance of 82'4", and Southern Valley took 3rd with a total distance of 80'4.5".


In discus, Cambridge placed 1st with a total distance of 228'0", Hi-Line took 2nd with a total distance of 227'11", Southern Valley placed 3rd with a total distance of 219'0", and Southwest placed 4th with a total distance of 143'0".


Southern Valley took 1st place in the long jump with a total distance of 45'9.5" and Hi-Line was 2nd with a total distance of 39'8.25".


In triple jump, Cambridge took 1st with a total distance of 89'9.75" and Southern Valley took 2nd with a total distance of 86'9".


For the distance medley relay (1200, 400, 800, 1600), Cambridge crossed the line first in 15:35.42 and Southern Valley came across second with a time of 15:37.02.


In the shuttle hurdle relay, the Eagles placed 1st with a time of 1:23.36 and the Trojans took 2nd with a time of 1:26.98.


In the 400-meter relay, Hi-Line placed 1st with a time of 54.73, Cambridge 2nd with a time of 54.73, and Southern Valley placed 3rd with a time of 57.08.


In the 1600-meter relay, Cambridge took 1st with a time of 4:56.87, Southern Valley placed 2nd with a time of 5:03.40, and Hi-Line placed 3rd with a time of 5:06.58.


Cambridge took 1st in the 3200-meter relay with a time of 13:23.36.


In the sprint medley relay (100, 100, 200, 400), Southern Valley took 1st with a time of 2:12.24, Cambridge took 2nd with a time of 2:19.20, and Hi-Line took 3rd with a time of 2:28:06.


In the 800-meter relay, Cambridge placed 1st with a time of 2:02.93 and Hi-Line placed 2nd with a time of 2:09.56.



UNK Indoor Class B/C Boys Results, 3/22

Maxwell and Dndy County Stratton were in attendance, but no team scores were kept. We will begin with the boys' results.


In the 60-meter dash, Laken Wissink of DCS placed 3rd with a time of 7.14, and Noah Zoltenko of DCS placed 8th with a time of 7.63.


In the 200-meter dash, Wissink of DCS placed 4th with a time of 24.80, and Blaine Aldridge of DCS placed 5th with a time of 24.91.


In the 800-meter run, Jesse Reyes of Maxwell placed 3rd with a time of 2:12.98, Tagen Yrkoski of DCS placed 7th with a time of 2:23.83, and Owen Pagel of Maxwell placed 8th with a time of 2:23.83.


In the 60-meter hurdles, Kevin Garcia of DCS placed 3rd with a time of 9.04.


Ethan Latta of DCS placed 2nd in the high jump with a leap of 6'4".


In long jump, Zoltenko of DCS placed 2nd with a jump of 21'0" and August Shaw of DCS placed 4th with a jump of 19'1".


In shot put, Brock Bailey placed 1st with a toss of 56'5" and Carlos Diaz of DCS placed 4th with a throw of 46'5".


In discus, Bailey of DCS placed 2nd with a toss of 162'3" and Diaz of DCS placed 4th with a toss of 140'7".



UNK Indoor Class B/C Girls Results, 3/22


Clara Spargo of DCS placed 1st with a time of 7.99 in the 60-meter dash.


In the 200-meter dash, C. Spargo of DCS placed 1st with a time of 26.53, and Abi Spargo of DCS placed 2nd with a time of 26.75.


In the 1600-meter run, LaChelle Benitez of Maxwell placed 3rd with a time of 6:07.87, Keilah Curtis of Maxwell placed 4th with a time of 6:12.65, and Madelyn Nelson of Maxwell placed 8th with a time of 6:29.31.


In the 60-meter hurdles, A. Spargo of DCS placed 1st with a time of 9.81.


In the 4x800-meter relay, Maxwell placed 2nd with a time of 11:18.54 and was run by Nelson, Kurri Gosnell, Benitez, and Curtis.


In high jump, A. Spargo of DCS placed 2nd with a jump of 5'0".


In long jump, C. Spargo of DCS placed 3rd with a jump of 16'3.5".


In triple jump, Emory Christensen of Maxwell placed 4th with a jump of 30'11".


In the shot put, Kennedy Bailey of DCS placed 1st with a throw of 43'7", and Makenna Collier of DCS placed 8th with a throw of 28'3".


K. Bailey of DCS placed 1st in discus with a toss of 144'1".
