
Week two of track season is in the books. Nearly all the RPAC track teams were in action this week. It was another big week with school records being broken. We are in for a fun season with records being broken this early! Check out last week's results.
Lexington JV Invite Boys Results, 3/25
Hi-Line attended the Lexington JV invite. No team scores were kept.
In the 100-meter dash, Asher Hecox placed 1st with a time of 11.0 and Justin Ervin placed 4th with a time of 11.6.
In the 200-meter dash, Ervin placed 5th with a time of 24.4.
In the 800-meter run, Kane Cochrane placed 6th with a time of 2:25.8.
In the 110-meter hurdles, Chase Beitler placed 2nd with a time of 17.3 and Taevyn Koch placed 4th with a time of 18.2.
In the 300-meter hurdles, Beitler placed 1st with a time of 43.7 and Koch placed 3rd with a time of 47.5. Beitler set a new school record in this race, congrats, Chase!
In the 4x100-meter relay, Hi-Line took 1st and 2nd. Hi-Line A, which was made up of Beitler, Gage Rupp, Cooper Knackstedt, and Hecox, ran a time of 45.4. Hi-Line B, which was run by Angel Salazar, Cole Dean, Koch, and Finn Kerznar, ran a time of 46.7.
In the 4x400-meter relay, Hi-Line placed 6th with a time of 3:55.1 and was run by Cochrane, Dean, Rupp, and Kerznar.
In shot put, Ryan Oberg placed 1st with a toss of 44'8" and 1st in discus with a throw of 129'9".
In the high jump, Cochrane placed 1st with a jump of 5'10".
In pole vault, Knackstedt placed 1st with a vault of 12'0".
