RPAC Volleyball Results as of 10/20

Most teams wrapped up the regular season last Tuesday and the RPAC Tournament began on Thursday. Check out how that first day of the tournament shook out and find more information about the rest of the tournament at the bottom of the blog.

Alma

Alma closed out their regular season on Tuesday as they traveled to Hi-Line. The Cardinals got the 3-0 sweep with set scores of 25-13, 25-16, and 25-15.


Alma earned the #3 seed in the RPAC Tournament, faced the #6 Arapahoe, fell 3-2, and then faced #7 Hi-Line in the consolation bracket to win 2-1. To read more about these matches and all other matches on Thursday, click here.


Alma is 19-9 and will play #5 Southern Valley on Monday at Southwest at 4:00 P.M. CT.



Arapahoe

The Warriors earned the #6 seed in the RPAC Tournament and defeated #3 Alma 3-2 and then fell to #2 Cambridge in straight sets, 3-0. To read more about these matches and all other matches on Thursday, click here.


Arapahoe is 9-14 and will play #4 Bertrand on Monday at Southwest at 5:30 P.M. CT.

Bertrand

Bertrand is the #4 seed in the RPAC Tournament and faced #5 Southern Valley and fell 3-2 and then defeated #8 Medicine Valley 2-1. To read more about these matches and all other matches on Thursday, click here.


Bertrand is 17-11 and will face #6 Arapahoe on Monday in Southwest at 5:30 P.M. CT.


Cambridge

Cambridge traveled to Hitchcock County on Tuesday for a triangular with the Falcons and Southwest. Cambridge defeated Hitchcock County 2-1 and lost to Southwest 2-1. To read more about this RPAC Rundown Featured Matchup, click here.


Cambridge is the #2 seed in the RPAC Tournament and defeated Hi-Line 3-0 and Arapahoe 3-0. To read more about these matches and all other matches on Thursday, click here.


Cambridge is 19-8 and the Trojans advanced to the semifinals where they will face #1 Southwest at Southwest on Monday at 7:00 P.M. CT.


Dundy County Stratton

Dundy County Stratton hosted a triangular with Hershey and Perkins County on Tuesday to close out their regular season.


Against Hershey, the Tigers dropped set one 25-19 and then won sets two and three 25-23 and 25-22 to take the match, 2-1.


Against Perkins County, DCS fell 2-0 with set scores of 25-22 and 25-12.


Dundy Country Stratton earned the #2 seed in the RPAC Tournament and faced #7 Paxton and got the 3-1 win and fell to #6 Hitchcock County, 3-0. To read more about these matches and all other matches on Thursday, click here.


The Tigers are 16-9 and will face #3 Maxwell in the consolation bracket in Hayes Center at 4:00 P.M. CT.

Hi-Line

Alma came to town on Tuesday for a dual and swept the Bulls, 3-0, with set scores of 25-13, 25-16, and 25-15. Malia Viter had four kills, Rilee Schutz had seven digs, and Ellaray Koch had seven assists.


Hi-Line is the #7 seed in the RPAC Tournament and faced #2 Cambridge and fell 3-0 and then fell to #3 Alma 2-1. To read more about these matches and all other matches on Thursday, click here.


Hi-Line is 6-21 and finished up their regular season. The Bulls will be off until subdistricts.


Hitchcock County

The Falcons hosted a triangular on Tuesday with Southwest and Cambridge. Hitchcock County fell to Southwest 2-0 and Cambridge 2-1. To read more about this RPAC Rundown Featured Matchup, click here.


Hitchcock County is the #6 seed in the RPAC Tournament and faced #3 Maxwell and earned the 3-1 win and swept #2 DCS, 3-0, to advance to the semifinals on Monday. To read more about these matches and all other matches on Thursday, click here.


The Falcons are 15-15 and will face #1 Maywood-Hayes Center at 7:00 P.M. CT in Hayes Center on Monday.


Maxwell

Maxwell traveled to Sandhills Valley for a dual on Tuesday and earned the 3-0 sweep with set scores of 25-14, 25-7, and 25-9.


Maxwell is the #3 seed in the RPAC Tournament and faced #6 Hitchcock County and fell 3-1 and defeated #7 Paxton 2-0. To read more about these matches and all other matches on Thursday, click here.


Maxwell is 17-11 and will take on #5 Wauneta-Palisade on Monday at 5:30 P.M. CT.


Maywood-Hayes Center

Maywood-Hayes Center traveled to Sutherland on Tuesday for a dual and earned the 3-0 sweep with set scores of 25-17, 25-19, and 25-19. Caylie Softley had 13 kills and 10 digs, Reagan Stengel had three aces 18 assists, and 12 digs, Blayklee Farr had 17 digs, Karissa Stengel had 13 digs, Grace Loomis had 12 digs, and Aubrey Broz had 18 assists.


The Wolves earned the #1 seed and faced #8 Sutherland on Thursday at the RPAC Tournament. They defeated the Sailors 3-1 and Wauneta-Palisade 3-1 to advance to Monday's semifinal. To read more about these matches and all other matches on Thursday, click here.


MHC is 21-6 and will face #6 Hitchcock County on Monday in Hayes Center at 7:00 P.M. CT.


Medicine Valley

The Raiders traveled to Wauneta-Palisade on Tuesday for a dual and lost, 3-0, with set scores of 25-21, 25-16, and 25-12. Remmi Stout had 14 kills, Oakley Stout had four aces, and Haylie Gustafson had eight digs and 11 assists.


The Raiders are the #8 seed in the RPAC Tournament and faced #1 Southwest and were swept 3-0 and fell to #4 Bertrand 2-1. To read more about these matches and all other matches on Thursday, click here.


Medicine Valley is 3-21 and is finished with the RPAC Tournament and will host Sutherland on Thursday for a dual.


Paxton

Paxton traveled to Kimball for a dual on Tuesday and earned the 3-0 sweep with set scores of 25-12, 25-10, and 25-20. Jakcee Mitchell had nine kills and Jaleigh Hansen had eight kills. The Tigers had 16 aces in the match; Emmalee Nicholson had six aces, Hansen had five aces, and Mitchell had three aces. Hansen had 13 digs, Mitchell had 12 digs, and Reece Glinn had 10 digs while Madison Hansen had 27 assists in the match.


Paxton is the #7 seed in the RPAC Tournament and fell to Dundy County Stratton 3-1 and Maxwell 2-0. To read more about these matches and all other matches on Thursday, click here.


Paxton is 12-16 and is finished in the RPAC Tournament. The Tigers are off until subdistricts.


Southern Valley

Southern Valley is the #5 seed in the RPAC Tournament and faced #4 Bertrand and earned the 3-2 victory and fell to Southwest, 3-0. To read more about these matches and all other matches on Thursday, click here.


Southern Valley is 15-12 and will face #3 Alma on Monday at 4:00 P.M. CT in Southwest and will travel to Wilcox-Hildreth on Thursday for a dual.


Southwest

Southwest traveled to Hitchcock County on Tuesday for a triangular with the Falcons and Cambridge. Southwest defeated the Falcons 2-0 and Cambridge 2-1. To read more about this RPAC Rundown Featured Matchup, click here.


Southwest is the #1 seed in the RPAC Tournament and swept #8 Medicine Valley 3-0 and #5 Southern Valley. To read more about these matches and all other matches on Thursday, click here.


Southwest is 28-0 and will face #2 Cambridge on Monday in the semifinals at home at 7:00 P.M. CT.


Sutherland

Sutherland hosted Maywood-Hayes Center on Tuesday for a dual and was swept 3-0 with set scores of 25-17m 25-19, and 25-19. Mahala Vasquez had nine kills and 14 digs, Fallyn Elfedt had 25 digs, Reese Erbert had 12 digs, and Gracyn Erbert had 14 digs and 16 assists.


The Sailors are the #8 seed and faced #1 MHC on Thursday and fell 3-1 and lost to #4 Wallace 2-0.  To read more about these matches and all other matches on Thursday, click here.


Sutherland is 9-18 on the year and is finished in the RPAC Tournament. They are back in action on Thursday when they travel to Medicine Valley for a dual.


Wallace

Wallace hosted a triangular on Tuesday with Potter-Dix and Garden County.


Against Potter-Dix, Wallace earned the 2-0 sweep with set scores of 25-19 and 25-21. Reagan Finley had seven kills, three aces, and six digs, Mallory McConnell had three blocks, and Kaley Sauser had nine assists.


Against Garden County, Wallace won set one 25-22 and then dropped sets two and three 25-19 and 25-12. Finley had six kills and 11 digs and Devin Giesselmann had eight assists.


Wallace is the #4 seed and faced #5 Wauneta-Palisade and fell 3-1 and then swept #8 Sutherland, 2-0.  To read more about these matches and all other matches on Thursday, click here.


Wallace is 14-12 and will face #2 Dundy County Stratton on Monday at 4:00 P.M. CT in Hayes Center.


Wauneta-Palisade

The Broncos hosted Medicine Valley on Tuesday for a dual and earned the 3-0 sweep with set scores of 25-21, 25-16, and 25-12.


Wauneta-Palisade is the #5 seed in the RPAC Tournament and faced #4 Wallace and earned the 3-1 win and fell to #1 Maywood-Hayes Center 3-1.  To read more about these matches and all other matches on Thursday, click here.


The Broncos are 14-12 and will face #3 Maxwell at 4:00 P.M. CT in Hayes Center. They will also travel to Hershey on Thursday for a dual.


RPAC VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT BRACKET

West games will be played in Hayes Center and East games will be played at Southwest. Tuesday's consolation and championship games will be played in McCook at the McCook Community College Graff Event Center.
