RPAC VOLLEYBALL RESULTS AS OF 9/12


RPAC schools participated in a lot of triangulars and tournaments this week. Check out all the details below.


Alma

The Cardinals had a busy week as they started off on Tuesday with a triangular at Northern Valley, KS. They split games losing to Wilcox-Hildreth 2-1 and defeating Northern Valley 2-0. On Thursday, Alma traveled to Elm Creek and they defeated the Buffalo 3-0. On Saturday, Alma traveled to Hitchcock County for their tournament where they faced off with Maywood-Hayes Center and fell 2-0, Arapahoe and won 2-0, and Hitchcock County winning 2-0. The Cardinals are now 8-4 on the season.


Arapahoe

On Tuesday, Arapahoe traveled to Loomis for a triangular with Looks and Maywood-Hayes Center. It was a tough night as they fell to Loomis 2-0 and Maywood-Hayes Center 2-0. On Thursday, they traveled to Brady hoping to bounce back and they did just that. They defeated Brady 3-0. Emerson Swanson had a solid game as she posted 7 kills and 16 digs while Rylee Bahe contributed with 5 aces. The Warriors participated in the Hitchcock County tournament on Saturday. They defeated Wauneta-Palisade 2-0 and lost to Alma 2-0 and Axtell 2-0. The Warriors are now 5-4 on the season.


Bertrand

On Tuesday, Bertrand traveled to Amherst where they fell to the Broncos 3-0. They were led by Brooklyn Evans with six kills, one ace, and eight digs. On Thursday, the Vikings hosted a triangular with Cozad and Hi-Line. Bertrand fell to Cozad 2-1 and were paced by Katelyn Evans with nine kills, six aces, and four digs. Bertrand also fell to Hi-Line 2-1. Katelyn led the Vikings again with 10 kills, five aces, and 15 digs. The Vikings participated in the Loomis tournament on Saturday and defeated Franklin 2-0 and they lost to Silver Lake 2-0 and Hi-Line 2-0. The Vikings are now 3-8 on the season.


Cambridge

Cambridge attended the Dundy County Stratton triangular on Tuesday where they faced off with the Tigers and the Irish of North Platte St. Pats. The Trojans defeated Dundy County Stratton 2-0 and were led by a trio of Trojans. Jalen Kent, Jacey Kent, and Erin Johnson each tallied 8 kills in the match. In the 2-0 victory over North Platte St. Pats, Jalen Kent led the way with 15 kills, two aces, and 11 digs. On Thursday, Class D2 #5 Overton came to town and handed the Class D1 #5 Trojans their 1st loss of the season 3 sets to 1. Jalen led the way for the Trojans again as she posted 18 kills, two aces, and 19 digs. The Trojans are now 8-1 on the season.


Dundy County Stratton

The Tigers hosted a triangular on Tuesday with Cambridge and North Platte St. Pats. They fell to both the Trojans 2-0 and the Irish 2-0. On Thursday, Dundy County Statton battled with Medicine Valley and fell short losing 3-0. The Tigers are now 0-8 on the season.


Hitchcock County

On Tuesday, Hitchcock County hosted a triangular against Perkins County and Wallace. Against Perkins County, the Falcons fell 2-0 and were led by Katie Jarecke with 5 kills, 2 aces, and six digs. Byanka Tyan led the way against the 2-0 loss to Wallace with 4 kills, 2 aces, and 7 digs. On Saturday at their home tournament, they faced 2-0 losses from Wauneta-Palisade, Maywood-Hayes Center, and Alma. The Falcons are now 2-8 on the season.


Maxwell

On Thursday, Maxwell squared off with Maywood-Hayes Center where the fell 3-0. Kristyn Cheek contributed 6 kills and 2 digs while Jocelyn Cheek contributed five kills, one block, and five digs. The Wildcats traveled to Loomis on Saturday for a tournament. They fell to Loomis 2-0, defeated Franklin 2-0, and lost to Hi-Line 2-0. The Wildcats are now 1-8 on the season.


Maywood-Hayes Center

Maywood-Hayes Center had a busy week. It started with traveling to Loomis for a triangular on Tuesday. They defeated Loomis 2-0. Olivia Hansen led the way with 7 kills, 2 aces, 1 block, and two digs. Arapahoe was up next and they took the win 2-0. Hansen again had five kills, two aces, one block, and 12 digs while Kiley Hejtmanek tallied 6 aces. On Thursday, the Wolves took on Maxwell. In the 3-0 victory, Hansen posted nine kills, five blocks, and 15 digs. On Saturday, they were back in action again and attended the Hitchcock County tournament. They defeated Alma 2-0, Axtell 2-0, and Hitchcock County 2-0. The Wolves remain unbeaten with a 10-0 record.


Medicine Valley

The Raiders hosted Dundy County Stratton on Thursday. They were able to take down the Tigers 3-0 and were led by three Raiders. Milla Farr had eight kills, two aces, three blocks, and five digs, Stella Heapy had eight kills, two aces, and five digs and Remmi Stout had eight kills, one ace, and seven digs. On Saturday they participated in the Seven Valleys Tournament. Medicine Valley fell to South Loup 2-1 and defeated both Arthur County and Sandhills Valley 2-0. The Raiders are now 8-2 on the season.


Paxton

On Tuesday, Paxton traveled to Brady for a triangular with Brady and Sandhills Valley. In their battle with Brady, the Tigers came out on top with a 2-1 win. Audrey Holm had a great game with 12 kills, four aces, one block, and 17 digs. They were also able to defeat Sandhills Valley 2-0. Holm led the way again with four kills, one ace, and six digs. On Thursday, it was another triangular for the Tigers but they traveled to Garden County. They defeated Garden County 2-1 and Minatare 2-0. Holm again paced the Tigers as she posted 15 kills, three blocks, two aces, and 26 digs between the two games. Paxton improves to 7-1 on the season.


Southern Valley

Southern Valley participated in the Elm Creek triangular on Tuesday where they defeated Franklin 2-0 and Elm Creek 2-0. In another triangular on Thursday, the Eagles fell to both Sutherland 2-0 and Southwest 2-0. Southern Valley traveled back to Elm Creek on Saturday to participate in their tournament. They defeated Wood River 2-0 and fell to Amherst 2-0. The Eagles are now 5-5 on the season.


Southwest

Southwest participated in the Sutherland triangular on Thursday where they took on Southern Valley and Sutherland. In the 2-0 victory over Southern Valley, Caylin Barnett had four kills, one ace serve, one block, and seven digs while Bryn Lampe contributed 11 assists, one ace serve, one block, and three digs. The Roughriders defeated Sutherland 2-0 and Barnett posted six kills, three digs, and two ace serves. They improve to 7-2 on the season.


Wallace

Wallace participated in the Hitchcock County triangular on Tuesday where they took down Hitchcock County 2-0 and Perkins County 2-0. Kendyl Flaming posted 16 kills, five aces, four blocks, and 11 digs between the two games. They then traveled to Loomis for a tournament on Saturday. The Wildcats fell to Loomis 2-1 but were able to defeat both Silver Lake 2-1 and Hi-Line 2-0. They improve to 8-2 on the season.


Wauneta-Palisade

The Broncos traveled to Kansas on Thursday for a triangular with St. Francis and Rawlins County. They defeated Rawlins County 2-0 and were led by Peyton Cox with 11 kills and six digs. In the 2-0 loss to St. Francis, Cox led the way again with 10 kills. Wauneta-Palisade participated in the Hitchcock County tournament on Saturday. They fell to both Arapahoe and Axtell 2-0 but were able to snag a win against Hitchcock County 2-0. They improved to 4-6 on the season.
