C4 District Meet
The C4 District meet was held in Mitchell and Loomis/Bertrand placed 12th as a team with 52 points.
in 113, Tyson Freeman placed 4th by fall in 0:52. In 120, Carter Horner placed 3rd by fall in 1:55. Freeman and Horner will represent the Wolfkings at state.
D1 District Meet
The D1 District meet was held in Pender and Cambridge finished as the District Runners-Up with 131.5 points.
Micah Gerlach placed 3rd in 106. In 113, Angel Rodriguez placed 2nd. In 138, Jacob Corbett placed 2nd. Tye Stanton placed 2nd in 152 by 10-6 decision. In 160, Hunter Perks placed 3rd by fall in 1:34. Jordan Ruf placed 2nd in 285 by fall in 0:24. These gentlemen will be competing at the state tournament.
D2 District Meet
The D2 District meet was held in Southern Valley and Southern Valley placed 7th with 89 points and Arapahoe placed 11th with 58.5 points.
In 113, Braxton Hammond of Southern Valley placed 3rd by fall in 2:41. Wayne Lee of Arapahoe placed 4th in 120. Cole Broeker of Southern Valley placed 3rd in 145. In 152, Mason Noel of Southern Valley placed 2nd by a 2-1 decision and Rafe Hill of Arapahoe placed 4th.
These wrestlers will be competing at the state tournament.
D3 District Meet
The D3 District meet was held at Thayer Central and Alma placed 7th with 84.5 points and Southwest finished 15th with 31.5 points.
In 113, Carter Brandyberry of Alma was crowned the District Champion. In 126, Mitchel Stritt of Southwest placed 3rd by fall in 1:57. Alek Molzahn of Alma placed 2nd in 170. In 195, Jeremy Felix of Alma placed 3rd by fall in 2:46.
These athletes will be competing in the state tournament.
D4 District Meet
The D4 District meet was held in Sutherland and Hitchcock County was named the District Runners-Up with 169 points, Maxwell placed 4th with 101.5 points, Wauneta-Palisade finished 15th with 20 points, Dundy County Stratton finished 16th with 19 points, Medicine Valley finished 18th with 9 points, and Paxton finished 22nd with 4 points.
In 106, Dylan Kollmorgen of Hitchcock County placed 4th. Blake Devitt of Hitchcock County was the District Champion in 113 by fall in 1:00. Tanner McLain of Hitchcock County placed 3rd in 126. In 132, Ethan Norton of Maxwell placed 3rd by fall in 0:47. Easton Messersmith of Maxwell placed 4th in 145. Tanner O`Brien of Hitchcock County placed 2nd in 160. In 170, Cyrrus Messersmith of Maxwell defeated Dalten Hagan of Hitchcock County by fall in 1:49 to finished 3rd and 4th. Kolyn Gaston of Hitchcock County was the District Champion in 182. In 195, Keegan Shuler of Hitchcock County defeated Jaycob Young of Maxwell by fall in 1:57 to claim the District Champion and District Runner-Up. Blake Emig of Dundy County Stratton placed 4th in 195. Jacob Copper of Maxwell placed 4th in 220. In 285, Taylor Hubl of Hitchcock County placed 3rd.
These athletes will be competing in the state meet.
