Two State Champions - Seven Total Medals Earned by RPAC Speakers at State Speech

The RPAC was well represented at the 2025 NSAA State Speech Meet in Classes C2-D2 on Thursday, March 27th, and Friday, March 28th. Forty-seven speakers represented the RPAC across 14 schools, and seven medals came home to the RPAC, including two State Champions. Check out the results!
In Class C2, Lael Rathbun of Arapahoe earned the State Champion title in humorous prose. Arapahoe as a team tied for 16th with 20 points.
In Class D1, Dundy County Stratton's Klayton Rinne placed 3rd in extemporaneous, and Emma Baldeh was a State Champion in poetry and a State Runner-up in program of oral interpretation. As a team, the Tigers tied for 5th with 54 points.
In Class D2, Kara Brockman of Elwood placed 5th in entertainment. Kendall McClintock of Wallace was named the State Runner-up in extemporaneous. Wallace's OID comprised Bradley Hanson, Colt Franklin, Mallory McConnell, Max Hanson, and Ryleigh Hanson, who placed 3rd. As a team, Elwood tied for 12th with 20 points and Wallace placed 8th with 34 points.
